Name: Jerolin Jordan
Nickname: Jero
Apparent Age: Late 30s
Occupation: Detective

At six feet tall and broad-shouldered, Jero is, at first glance, one’s average very-good-looking white guy: good skin tanned from living out in the desert for awhile, with deep brown eyes and hair that goes between sandy blonde and white-blonde depending on how long he’s been out in the sunshine, clipped into a trendy sort of short, corporate cut. When he smiles, he has slight crow’s feet at the corners of his eyes. He tends to dress in business casual clothing that’s tailored to his decently tall and athletic frame, though if he’s not careful, he tends to go to paunch; hence, a strict regimen of working out. When he's not in business casual, it's for weekend runs to the grocery, in jeans or sweatpants and a teeshirt, or he's in his uniform as a police detective. When on the job he prefers shoulder or underarm holsters.

Jero is a prime example of how people have layers to them: oozing charm and Southern manners and hospitality on the surface, and using his good lucks to back it up, on the inside he is sort of -- corrupted. There is a nasty side to him, which comes out as a wicked tongue and a tendency to take advantage of people as often as he can get away with it. Jero is intelligent enough to not allow these nastier personality traits to come out much while at work, and it's hard to pin anything on him while dealing with his public face. He’s just so charming, has such genteel manners and a trustworthy face that it’s hard not to just accept that he’s probably a good guy. He’s a detective, for christ’s sake.

He is gay and in a committed relationship, including a house and twin Jeeps in the driveway and presumably a cat [because it seems like there ought to be one], but there's no wedding ring. Not yet, anyway.

At crime scenes, or around graveyards or funeral homes, Jero's eyes have been known to slide sideways to look at things that aren't there...
